A little preview of the photo I’ve been working on.
I came across this tutorial tonight and I decided I wanted to try this style out. I’m always looking for ways to improve my editing skills, so when I find a tutorial I like, I tend to jump on it. I usually will edit a photo while following along pretty closely with the tutorial and after I’ve edited a photo in that particular style, I then adapt it to what I currently do in a way that works best for me. That way, I’m not completely changing my editing overnight and I’m not completely morphing into someone else’s style.
Isn’t that kind of what all artists do? You take what you know and you take what someone else knows and then you mesh the two together.
